Interesting Week

Life is good. On Monday, I completed the long anticipated U.S. Customs Broker Exam. I actually drove to Dallas with three of my co-workers on Sunday afternoon and stayed overnight so we could get up bright and cheerful for the test. So we arrived at the test site in Arlington, just west of Dallas and got set up for the exam. The test started right at 9AM and finished up at 1PM (4 hours of pure focus). I walked out of there feeling positive about my performance. The bummer part is that it will take 6 to 8 weeks before we get the results.

Tuesday and Wednesday were filled with email catch up and knocking out the required projects before my vacation started. Now that I'm home and have relaxed, I feel I'm officially on vacation. Having the test done and over with is a great relief. I'm now looking forward to my Dad and Mom, Mellie, and my Grandma coming on Friday. It will be fun.

With all the rush and hurry, I haven't had time to post my sermon notes. Perhaps tomorrow. Until then....
